Journey 2009 - November 6-8

Journey is a Roman Catholic retreat weekend for teens and young adults. The primary focus is on Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Journey assists participants to enter into a personal encounter with Christ, particularly Jesus as truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. Journey also strives to make the participants aware of the gift of the vocation to priesthood and religious life.

Retreat activities include: Daily Mass, Perpetual Adoration, Reconciliation, the Rosary, Matins and Vespers, Talks & Workshops, Faith-Sharing, and Lively Music.

Journey is designed for Catholic teenagers, but we welcome our brothers and sisters of all Christian faiths. Participants must be between the ages of 14 and 18 and be in high school. Young adult participants between the ages of 19 and 24 are also welcome to attend. Chaperones must be age 21 or older, be approved by the attending parish, and have completed all requirements for the Diocese of Portland's Safe Environment program.
