Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Maine Catholic Schools
Diocese of Portland

The Diocese of Portland has an opening for an executive assistant to the superintendent of Maine Catholic Schools. The executive assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the superintendent, coordinating the visa process for international students, and monitoring the progress of teachers and education technicians in the phases of certification and recertification. Responsibilities also include maintaining various files, composing draft communications, offering administrative support to the diocesan school board and certification committee, and preparing reports related to school data. Three to five years of experience as an executive assistant is preferred. Faith Formation Co-Director
Parish of the Ascension of the Lord, Kittery

The Parish of the Ascension of the Lord in Kittery has an immediate opening for a faith formation co-director (25-30 hours per week). The new co-director will oversee the religious education program for kindergarten through twelfth grade, develop and manage the faith formation calendar, oversee six family sacramental preparation sessions, and perform other duties. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of three years of catechetical experience, be a practicing Catholic who upholds the teachings of the Church, and have a willingness to learn about parish practices regarding catechetical ministry, youth ministry, young adult Ministry and evangelization. Coordinator of Youth Ministry
All Saints Parish, Brunswick

All Saints Parish in Brunswick seeks a coordinator of youth ministry. This position is for 20 hours per week, benefits included. Duties include recruiting and training leaders, supervising all youth ministry activities from junior high through high school at various churches in the parish. The successful candidate will have strong people skills, excel in communication and organization, and be a practicing Catholic. Priority is given to a candidate with background in pastoral ministry, but all candidates must be willing to engage in ongoing training and formation. Receptionist/Billing Assistant

St. John’s Catholic School in Brunswick seeks a full-time receptionist/billing assistant. Candidates must hold a current CHRC from the State of Maine. The receptionist/billing assistant welcomes parents, students, and visitors; answers phones; assists with mailings; performs general administrative duties and invoice management with bookkeeper support; and completes data entry. Candidates should have working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and be willing to learn new operating systems.  Applicants must also be comfortable working in a faith-filled environment.
