Continuing the New Evangelization Dialogue
Evangelization Day — Spring 2008

The Office of Parish Planning for Evangelization of the Diocese of Portland invites parish & cluster leaders to come together to continue the New Evangelization dialogue at St. John Parish, Bangor, Friday May 2, 2008 from 9:45 am — 3 pm.

This will be a time of conversation and exchange — focusing especially on the pastoral, business, and administrative challenges presented by the New Evangelization and strategies for successfully addressing them. Discussion groups to include:

Business, finance, & administration — Peter McPartland, Diocesan Assistant Controller; Teresa Schulz, Diocesan Director of Human Resources; Fr. Phil Tracy, Pastor of Corpus Christi Parish, Waterville; David Twomey, Diocesan Finance Director.

Catechetics & initiation — Jeanne Bigelow, Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry; Fr. John Skehan, Pastor of Our Lady of The Angels Parish, South Berwick, St. Christopher Parish, York, & St. Raphael Parish, Kittery; Barbara Smith, Diocesan Director of Catechetics & Initiation
