“Three Beliefs” in Portland

Suzanne Lafreniere, the director of the Office of Public Policy for the Diocese of Portland, will discuss Three Beliefs on Saturday, April 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the Guild Hall of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. Refreshments will be offered starting at 9 a.m. Three Beliefs is a guide for Maine Catholics that offers valuable assistance and information regarding end-of-life issues. The event is sponsored by the Consoling Hearts Ministry, a group that provides prayerful support for the families of the deceased at the Portland Peninsula & Island Parishes. During her presentation, Lafreniere will present the three basic Catholic beliefs that are the foundation for making end-of-life care determinations and answer questions from attendees.
